The inside lining of the Flexy ballet flats is so incredibly soft and comfortable. I've had them for about two weeks now and wear them to work every day.
I like the lightly padded heel - I was even able to wear them while I had a blister from another less-kind pair of shoes without any problems. The leather on the sides does crease. I have a diagonal crease from the top of the heel stitching that wraps around the side down to about where the ball of my foot bends. I don't know yet if this will cause any long term issues with the structure of the shoes or not. I got caught in the rain with these one afternoon and completely soaked them, including the inside. I was worried about the lining, but they dried perfectly and still felt soft and pleasant inside.
The shoes have a slight arch curve but this is not really arch "support" because it's so soft and squishy. The foot bed is not especially padded. I think I've already squished down the padding under the ball of my foot and it feels pretty flat to the ground. I don't have any issues with my feet so this isn't a problem for me personally, but these would not be good for someone with sensitive feet or feet problems.
They run quite large. Typically I am an 8-9, I bought the 8.5 and felt like I was about to walk right out of them. I thought perhaps a smaller size would be too tight near the end of the day but I wish I had exchanged them for an 8 or possibly even a 7.5.
