Women's Donna Medium/Wide Wedge Slide Sandal

I ordered these last week. I read some reviews indicating they ran about a half size small, so I ordered a half size larger. That was great advice, as they would not have fit in my normal size. I did not, however, heed the part of the reviews where they were falling apart. I hoped some had unfortunately gotten a bad pair. I worse these shoes less than five hours, and the right one is shredding apart and popping as strings break. The left one doesn't appear to be far behind. It is such a shame as they are really cute. I just don't think there's enough flexibility in the material or design to allow for the movement as you walk. Buyer beware.

I liked the style but thought the heel should have been higher. I have wide feet and liked the way the sandal had an open toe while covering the upper outside of the foot which spreads out in the sandal. I also liked the fabric a lot. I'm not a fan of fake leather in the summer.
