Lovely, but a touch too tall for comfort. The shaft of the boot ends exactly where my knee flexes, and digs in. Ok if I wear pants underneath, but bothersome with skirts. I basically HAVE to wear thick boot cuffs to make them wearable. I am 5' 5", for reference. Otherwise, they are lovely

Boots not as Pictured
These boots are not as pictured. They are heavily distressed and not solid black. Also the boot shaft come sup much higher than a normal boot (I am 5'6" and never have issues with boot shafts being too high).

Not What I Expect from Franco Sarto
These are just ok for me. I did not realize that they would be distressed when they arrived, so that was a surprise. The boots are just slightly too tall and as a result the tab that sits in the boot rubs against the side of the knee - making it very uncomfortable after awhile. They are advertised as wide calf and they are extremely wide - so much so I wondered if I could have taken the regular calf size. The boots also have a very hard footbed. All in all a disappointment compared to what I expect from Franco Sarto.
