Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great support. I like the Skechers running shoes. I’ve bought several Go Run styles and they work best for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe at a competitive price point This is my second pair in 5 months, really impressed with them. I find them better than the GT-2000's I wore since I started running 12 years ago. The first pair of go run ride 7's, 250 miles on them before they started to break down on the grip and cushioning. I average 5 miles at 2-3 times per week, heavier runner at 215lbs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Haven't lived up to the hype The shoe is a bit too narrow for my foot. Even sizing up a half-size, I have to wear the thinnest athletic sock I can find to have these feel comfortable. Also, in general, doesn't feel as cushioned or "springy" as the reviews I'd read in various running magazines/blogs. But willing to give them more of a chance to break in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good shoe This shoe is a really good running shoe for mid to long runs with good support and structure, while not bulky and heavy. I am curious to see how it will perform during some speed work. Toe box is tight and requires a thin sock to make it more acceptable. This shoe is much more plush than the Forza, and has little in common with the GoRun5. I still very much enjoy the Forza for tempo type runs and the GoRun5's for speed work. I am enjoying the GoRunRide7's enough to be seriously considering them for an upcoming Ironman.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Off your rocker Hate to give this review. Have had many Skechers from the Performance line and I think they finally sold out on all the fans of their original shoes. They are now marketing to the masses. These shoes do have firm cushioning which is GREAT, but for me it ends there. They are now narrow in the toe box, the knit upper does stretch some but it just needs more width for your toes. I also think these shoes are really hot, don't think the knit breathes very well. Also, they removed mostly ALL of the rocker of this shoe, it does not have the smooth transition from mid to forefoot anymore. You actually have to work at it, it doesn't just flow anymore. I've disgustingly went to a Clifton 4, at least they make a 2E, but too soft. My foot is not extremely wide, most brands I'm a standard D width. I run marathon plus distances, hoping these would have been my marathon shoes but don't work for me. Please bring back the width in the forefoot and the rocker. That's what made this shoe great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, light and durable running shoes I have been running for 6 years and all of my shoes are Skechers Go Run. In Go Run 7, I have run 500 km this year and they show no sight of wearing out. They are comfortable, very light and durable, promote M-strike. Drawbacks: less comfortable heel notch to put on, also the top knit-like material is too flexible. In my local shop, they had only dark blue and black colours, I think I would love a brighter hue. Though (!) my first Go Run 3 were really the best shoes for all these years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great daily training shoe The flightGen midsole is a dream to run on for easy/long/recovery runs. There is a softness there but certainly not squishy. It definitely gives the feeling of springiness with each stride. Great compliment shoe to my Razor 2 and Speed 5.
