Ask a Question asked: Why did you choose this?

  • Holly: "For comfort. Read a lot of reviews and had trusted them. Hope they fit and are what everyone says!"
  • D: "comfort"
  • Karen: "Because they are cute and comfortable."
  • Susan: "I actually wanted the red gingham Jennie but this was on sale."
  • Ruth E: "Love the gel soles AND available in size 11! Also wanted to use my rewards."
  • Katherine: "It's super cute and very comfortable."
  • Kim: "I had a pair similar to these shoes. They were very comfortable and lasted a very long time. My two favorite things in a shoe!"
  • Suzanne: "Denim"
  • Kirsten: "Cuteness and comfort"
  • Lynn: "Style and probable comfort"
  • Sharon: "liked the look and color"

Flossie asked: Was wondering how the arch support is in this shoe, if there is one?

  • Lisa: "Very supportive !"
  • Kristi: "It's pretty good. I have moderate to severe plantar facitis and I was able to wear them comfortably without my orthotic inserts."
  • Kerinda: "The arch support is fabulous for the middle of your foot and for your metatarcel arch as well. I have 2 pairs of these shoes. Love them. If you have flat feet, get a pair and your feet will love you."
  • Carol: "I love the footbed of this shoe. (I have them in orange/gray, pink/black and brown/purple. Arch support is good, but sometimes the seam where the rubber toe meets the fabric upper rubs a blister on my foot. My orange ones never do that, but the pink ones sometimes do."
  • Julie: "These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. And I get compliments on them every time I wear them."
  • Natasha: "The most comfortable shoe I ever baught. Like walking on clouds. I am a hairstylist and I stand all day. The support is amazing."
  • Gwen: "There is some arch support. It's not a running shoe, but there is some support."
  • Tammy: "This is a very comfortable shoe with good support everywhere by in the heels. It is a very flat shoe."
  • Elizabeth: "Great support. Best shoes I have bought. I bought my mom a pair also, 67 years old and she loves them as well."
  • Joseph: "My wife has a foot deformation which makes it very difficult to buy shoes, we found these and have bought probably 4 pair over the last few years and will continue. The support she gets from the arch is fantastic and her feet don't hurt as they used to hope this helps."
  • Flossie: "Thanks, Stephanie. You're the 2nd person who mentioned this so I guess I'm going to give these sneakers a shot. Are they a good walking shoe?"
  • Stephanie: "Yes! There is excellent arch support. For a non-running shoe, I was surprised to find this out. Very comfortable sneaker!"
  • Carol: "Arch support in this shoe is good."
  • debra: "These shoes are fantastic. I have 4 pairs in different colors. I have arthritis in my knee and these shoes are fantastic I don' the to put my inserts in these shoes like I do others for the support I need for my knee."

Karen asked: Are these good walking shoes?

  • mary: "Yes very good for walking, I have three different pairs."
  • CHERYLANN: "Dr. Scholl's Jamie shoes are very comfortable on my feet and, in my estimation, great for walking. Soon after I placed my order, I noticed a nursing professional wearing a pair on the job. I asked her how she liked hers, and she told me that she loved them because they were so comfortable to wear all day at work, and she was on her feet all day!"
  • Susan: "I haven't used them as such but I don't think I'd wear them for exercise walking. They're a fun, comfortable shoe but I'd get a walking or running shoe for serious walking. I don't think these have enough structure."
  • Brenda: "I had gone out to a local store and tried these shoes on to make sure I got the correct size. They were too small when they arrived. So I did not get to wear them. I have given them to my daughter. I will have to find out from her. I was really disappointed that they did not fit. After making sure they would by trying some on like them at a local Famous Footwear store."
  • Joanna: "Yes. I work in retail as a sales associate & wear them to work in. I have different colors & patterns because they are the most comfortable shoes I have found for work."
  • Julie: "Not as comfortable as last year's model. They are using a textured foot bed that isn't as comfortable but--- I still love them to walk in. They just took some getting used to."
  • Jessica: "No. They are not supportive for me to do my power walk in. I like them for running errands and short shopping trips."
  • Lynn: "Yes, IF you make sure the sole is lined up with your sole. If you do not center your foot, you get heal blisters. If you take the time to line your foot with the bottom of the shoe, you are able to walk what ever distance you wish. One I did, only comfort wearing these shoes. Hope this helps. -L-"
  • Barbara: "They are comfortable and have some support. I wear them more for style. If I go on a walk for a work out I wear a more walking athletic shoe. They are fine for walking in a park, going to the zoo, shopping etc."
  • Susan: "Most definitely, almost as comfortable as my UGG slippers! :)"
  • Ellie: "They are REALLY comfy. I honestly use them for everything... Go to a park, just walk, Gym... And I bought them when I was working at a hospital ( walk for hours) so yeah, definitely good walking shoes lol"
  • Karen: "They are good for every day street walking but don't really have the traction or support for serious "walking" shoes. "
  • Ruth E: "I had to return them because they were too stiff and uncomfortable. I could not wear them."
  • Denise: "For general walking they are fine but if you are walking for exercise I would not recommend them"
