Excellent walking shoe These shoes have great support for activities like walking, gardening, Zumba and are lightweight and good looking. May 17, 2013

Light Weight I got these shoes for standing on concrete. They are comfortable but I think a thin cushion insert would be a good idea. They are so light weight that they make running the floors of Costco easy. February 10, 2013

Good fit, good style This is my second pair of Avia A1371's. I found the first pair to be so comfortable and supportive that I bought another. With arch issues (my arch is collapsing and causes pain on top of my foot), shoes with good arch support are mandatory for me - and these are great! I own LOTS of shoes, but find that I keep selecting this pair to wear. That's always a good sign that shoes are comfortable. I'll most likely get a 3rd pair when these are used up. I hope they don't stop making them. February 6, 2013

Patti asked: Does this shoe have a cantalever sole?

Angela M: "Not sure what you mean by 'cantelever' The heel has an indentation in the center so the outer rim of the heel absorbs the shock of the step first. Look at the picture of the bottom of the shoe and the pink section is where it is recessed. Hope this helps!"
