Good shoes. I was concerned after first trying them on because, while the length and width seem just right; The heel would still slide a little bit with each step. Tightening the laces a bit helped this, and I don't notice any movement that does happen now. Over-tightening is a bit easy with these as well, I guess because the tongue's so thin. The tongue also folds over itself easily.
They're not very cushiony inside, but my feet haven't really been bothered yet (and I walk six to eight miles at work daily).
The sole is very ridged; good for hiking, but not parkour.
I was able to walk through a stream without my feet getting even a little damp.

This is the second pair of shoes like this I've purchased. They last a long time. This pair is about 1/4 size too small.

A tough shoe with a stiff sole plate. Comfortable. Removable insert. Great for light hiking but also useful everyday. Toe box is somewhat roomy but might irritate the great toe. Require a reasonable break in period - stiff and inflexible to start. If the toe box works for you; a great shoe at a great price.
