FamousFootwear.com asked: Why did you choose this?

  • Y: "Because he had one pair before and loved the police theme and wanted to keep using them even though were very worn out"
  • Liesa: "grandsons school shoes on sale back up pair"
  • Stella: "The baby wanted these."
  • PATRICK: "PRICE"
  • JENNIFER: "Our 5 year old son is going to love walking into Kindergarten on the first day sporting police shoes!"
  • Brianna: "My son is 6 and these are the shoes he wanted to wear"
  • Lilia: "BECAUSE MY KIDS LOVE SKECHERS"
  • Katrina: "When I was in elementary I loves lite up shoes!! They were the best!"
  • Kimberly: "My son will love them."
  • PALWASHA: "My five year old chose these sneakers."
  • Hector: "it is a good brand! and it was on sale"
  • danielle: "My son fell in love with them at famous footwear. Unfortunately, they didn't have his size there. So we ordered them on-line"
  • Heather: "My son has good luck with Skechers. He plays hard and they hold up well. He also happens to LOVE the Police. It's a win win!!"
  • T: "Returned original purchase to local store bc lights stopped working after 2 days. No inventory of this shoe in my sons size. NOT PLEASED I had to pay more for shipping bc shoes were defect. Will stay away from famous footwear for not working with me."
  • Craig: "grandson"
  • G: "my son loves the police patro shape"
  • Alanna: "My son HAD to have them and you were the only place I could find that had his size 11!"
  • Caryn: "My son likes light ups!"

Marilyn asked: Are there batteries that could be changed when lights don't work any longer? Just wondering - our 5 year old Grandson really loves his police shoes - sometimes the lights work and sometimes they don't.

  • Sandra: "No batteries to replace. Sometimes when the shoes get wet, the lights do not work as well"
  • Alanna: "I don't think you could change the batteries. My five year old has been making them light up since April and I haven't noticed any issues with the lights... Yet. Did he turn off the lights by pressing the on/off button on the Velcro closure?"
  • Paul: "Hi Marilyn L., Bought these 'police-shoes' for my 5 year old Grandson in July. He has worn them almost daily since then because he loves them, and they still 'light-up'. He now goes to Kindergarten in a school in Eastern Montana, which does NOT allow 'lighted-shoes'. No problem with these 'police-shoes' since they have a switch on the side to turn them ON and OFF. Are you aware that these shoes have such a 'switch' on the sides? NOT sure about the batteries, but if you find the switch - it may be why your Grandson's shoes go OFF and ON intermittently. He may NOT know there is a 'switch' to turn them ON and OFF? Just guessing but, the batteries may be close to the 'switch' on the sides of these shoes . . . . Hope this helps you!"

Paul asked: Where is the light-switch located on or in the show that can turn the show lights 'ON' and 'OFF'?

  • Heidi: "It is the red circle near the velcro strap."
  • Cassie: "It is located on the strap next to the red and whit police lights. It is easy to trun off and on."
  • johnny: "On the strap theres a round red button on the end of the strap just press it and the lights flash once that means the lights r off"
  • Karen: "Sorry I don't remember I gave them as a gift... Maybe on the Velcro strap..."
  • Caryn: "Check near the strap edges along Velcro."
  • Melinda: "The button is on the velcro strap."
  • Renee: "The button to turn on and off the lights is on the end of the velcro strap. It's really helpful turning on and off the lights my 4yr old can do it. I just wish her twinkle toes had the same button."
  • Anitha: "At the end of the strap"
  • Anitha: "On the strap "
