I loved the Fieldings and assumed these would fit similar, not even close! they are much more narrow at the toes!

Too narrow for my foot
I bought these shoes because I have a really nice pair of Dr. Scholl's "Habit" black flats which are so comfortable and I wear everyday to work. These shoes although even though they look very similar to the "Habit" shoe fit me a little narrower. I have wide feet so the shoe felt too tight for me so I had to return them. I did buy another pair of the "Habit" in pewter which I loved!

Just Weird
I really wanted to love these. They felt great when I put them on out of the box...until I tried to wear them in "real life". I went out for lunch and they were just so oddly ill-fitting. The toe part was fine, not pinchy or too narrow; and the back wasn't too high to have given me blisters over time. The weird fit occurred when I walked. The crease, where the foot naturally bends, flared out with each step. The shoe pulled away from my foot and came to a point on either side. It's so hard to explain but it's the reason I returned them. It looked odd and felt odd. Ugh.

Cute comfy flats for pregnancy
I have had to switch to wearing flats during the work week during my pregnancy and the Dr. Scholl's flats have really good support. They help with my sore legs and feet and still look professional with my work attire.
