Another reviewer mentioned that this shoe has some arch support and that is true and very comfortable. The fit is excellent, fit both length and width perfectly. I worried about ordering online since I usually have to try on dozens of shoes in a store and still don't find something that fits well, but these are great.
These shoes are also very light weight, which is good but takes some getting used to. So many athletic shoes have tons of rubber and thick soles and that makes them heavy, but these shoes have less and so are lighter. They also feel less "padded" around the foot, although the sole has plenty of padding. I only use them for walking and general use, I don't know how they would be for heavy sports activity.

In my review, it seems as if the length is about a half size small, however the shoes seem to form to my foot as I wear them. I also usually have some break in period for any shoe I buy or they end up being too long. I have a very wide foot and have a terrible time finding an athletic shoe that is comfortable. These are indeed just that. Lightweight and form fitting while being worn. I will buy 2 to 3 more pair of the same if they are available. My last pair of Avia shoes are holding up really well. Based on what I can see and feel, I believe these will wear as well. Avia is one of the few companies that makes a good athletic shoe for my fat foot. Clarks seems to have it down for me with the dress and casual leather shoes. I am very pleased with these!!!

not really sneakers made for winter cold, but i image in the summer they are going to be well ventalated
