Fist thing to point out... regardless what the description says, these are NOT leather. They don't look leather, they don't feel leather, and the stamp inside the boot clearly says "ALL MAN MADE MATERIALS." So. Not leather. Now that that's clear, on to the rest of the boot. They're very nice looking. Appear well enough made, which is to say as well made as anything that comes out of China; you should get a few seasons out of them if you wear them scarcely to moderately. If you wear them most every day all fall-winter and into spring, they'll be ready for retirement. They aren't painful, but I don't consider them particularly comfortable either. And they're too snug across the top of the foot to fit an insole in there. Little cushioning, little arch support. ... But... it suuure is a nice looking boot. I'm undecided if I'll keep them or not.

When I got these boot (on the date promised - no problems with delivery) they felt a bit tight on the toes during initial wearing. Now I am a size 11-1/2 A and you would think that these would be a bit loose, however I wore them with thick woollen socks and they did feel a bit tight on the toes the first time I wore them - but not enough to cause blistering or other foot problems. However, by the second wearing, again with thick woollen knitted panty hose, they were extremely comfortable and saw me through a 12-hour day without any discomfort whatsoever. Realize that these are a real leather boot and they will fairly quickly adjust to your foot. If you wish to avoid any tightness in the toes, a pair of shoe stretchers would be an ideal solution to this - just don't overdo it. Fit to the heel was also very comfortable - without any blistering or other problems.
The shaft diameter is a bit large for me as I have a 14-1/2 calf, but this also allows them to be worn with lower stockings and fleece lined leggings or a tight pair of jeans without being too tight around the calf. If you have a larger than 15" calf, there is a second zipper that will allow a dart to open the top of the shaft to about 16-1/2 inches. One of my girlfriends has bought a pair locally, as her local store had them in stock, and uses extra dart as she is a bit more buxom than I am. She also loves them.
The sole is very slip resistant and the heel height gives them a comfortable feel and the heel size is such that you can walk very stably in them. All in all, one of the better pair of boots I have ever owned for the price. The arch support is perfect and they are now extremely comfortable for all-day wear.
As these are leather, I would recommend that you give them a couple of coats of either clear or brown paste-type shoe polish, a few hours apart, with a good brushing or lapping with a clean, soft cloth between coats, prior to wearing, if the fit suits you and you decide to keep them, as this will protect them from water and give them a very elegant appearance as well. I would recommend these to my friends and I know at least two of my other friends who are very tempted to buy them.
Great look and very comfortable. What more can I say? I just wish they had them in stock in black in my size when I ordered them. However I do have a couple pair of similar boots in black already. I guess I'm "well heeled now."

I am so happy with these boots. In the picture the rubber heel looks kind of weird, so I was skeptical, but they really are cute in person. They fit perfect and look great with skirts.I love that they are real leather too!
