kelly asked: I have a few pairs of crocs from several years ago when they were fairly new to the market. Those crocs, as much as I love them, are extremely dangerous if I walk across a wet floor/surface because they slip very easily. Are the Kalebs the same way? Are all crocs still like that? I'd like to get them for my husband, but I don't want him to slip and break something.;)

  • Debbie: "My husband says that they have better traction than tennis shoes on any tile, or finished floor. Even on wood walkways they are fine."
  • Gregg: "Hi Kelly. I've had these crocs for awhile now and I love them. They're extremely comfortable and to answer your direct question - they do not slip like the normal crocs do. Hope this helps! Gregg "
  • Lisa: "hello kelly j. i got these for my husband for the summer since he won't wear sandals. he never had a problem slipping. those old crocs were made of like a plastic/rubber. these are more like docksiders. my son had the grey ones with bright green soles, he is 9 and he never slipped either. they wore well too."
  • Gayle: "My husband, 16 and 21 yo sons have them without a problem."

C asked: is the footbed the same as the tradional rubber clogs?

  • Karen: "It has a fabric foam pad in it that is removable to wash but that material is underneath"
  • O: "Never bought regular crocs, so I can't compare ir."
  • nancy: "THEY ARE MUCH MORE FLEXIBLE, MORE OF A CASUAL LOAFER, WOULDN'T WEAR THEM IN WATER! MY SON'S BOTH LOVE THEM!"
  • Brandon: "Yes, same base. "
  • tim: "no its more flexible, very comfortable shoe"
