- Jennifer: "Visually, the largest difference is that the AF1 are a tad higher in the sole of the shoes. But, unless you are an avid AF1 shoe wearer, it is not that noticeable. Also, the AF1 have a metal tag attached to the top of the bottom shoe lace on each shoe. Other than that, I just bought these for my son, and he could not tell the difference. I on the other hand, have always had AF1 for casual and I can tell."
