Rated 4 out of 5 by SatisfiedInChicago This is my second pair of Dr. Scholl's Women's First shoes. The only difference is my first ones weren't patent the leather. I liked my first pair so once they wore out I decided to look for them again (after a year of working as a hostess I had put a lot of mileage on them). They're good shoes for the price. The width is fine for my narrow feet but may be snug on someone with wider feet. I typically wear a 7 but the 6 1/2 fits fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Monalissa Nice professional flats
The bad part of them is that I wore them one day and they really hurt my heels and area around my little toes. They didn't feel to small. It's just that the material they are made with is very stiff and they need some breaking in. I think that after a couple times wearing them they'll loosen up, but be prepared for some pain from the rubbing the first time you wear them.
Regarding appearance: The leather is a nice patent leather with texture so they are shiny but not too much. The buckles on the top and sides are a nice bright silver. So many of the "work" shoes now have weird bottoms or are wedges. These shoes have nice flat bottoms that don't slip but don't look like nursing shoes either. The cushioning inside is comfortable. I think it's microsuede.
