Maria asked: Do these boots run large, small, or true to size?

  • Margaret: "True to size."
  • Jodi: "Way large"

Felecia asked: Would these be good boots for winter? I live in Minnesota, and right now it's really cold

  • kelli: "Very cute, but no, not for snow. If you're in Southern Minnesota or in the cities it'll be fine if you're on sidewalks (I live in northeast South Dakota and my feet freeze in these if its single digits or lower for temp). Definitely not snow boots, maybe look into Sorel or something for great winter boots that are warm and waterproof. I love these and they're great for fall or warmer dry winter days (*not slushy), but not for really cold temps."
  • Amy: "It was 1 degree yesterday in Chicago and I did not wear my madden boots. They are pretty toasty for your average winter day but they are by no means water proof and I find it very necessary to wear a pair of thick winter socks if I'm going to be walking outside for any extended period of time. I would not consider them a very warm boot but they are a nice casual everyday boot."
  • Kaitlin: "They are pretty warm, especially if you pair them with warm socks, but I wouldn't spend time in the snow with them. Hope that helps!"
  • Teresa: "I bought these for my daughter for xmas and she hasn't worn them yet."
  • Alyssa: "I have the plaid lined Steve Maddens and they always keep my feet warm. =} I am not sure if they are waterproof so you may want to check for that if you live where it snows."
  • Adrienne: "I wouldn't suggest you wear these to try to make your feet warm! I know minnesota can get pretty cold so I wouldn't advise you to wear these. These are more for fashion purposes. Hope I helped! These boots are cute, just a little tight on the top, I have to break them in."
  • Jennifer: "Probably not. I bought them more as a fashionable boot. I don't think they would make very warm boots."
  • Monica: "No not at all. They won't be warm enough. "
  • L: "They took me 15+ min to try to put on when I first got them. I returned them :("
  • Amy: "They aren't really made for warmth... Wouldn't recommend buying them as a winter boot."
