- Paula: "No mostly a mesh fabric - the stripes/banding have a plastic feel - but I must say, are one of the most comfortable athletic shoes I've had in a long time - well cushioned compared to most. Hope that helps!"

- barbara: "No, they are not leather, they are fabric mesh. They are about 1/2 size larger than your regular shoe size."
- Sharla: "Only around the laces and what looks like a web. They are mostly mesh on the sides and toes."
