I used to love the Nike LunarGlide shoe. Unfortunately, Nike decided to continually release newer versions that did not fit my foot the same way, and I could never find the older model.
The Dual Fusion ST2 is as close as it gets to my beloved LunarGlides. Thankfully, Nike hasn't yet tried to 'upgrade' this line in such a way that I can't get the ST2's...

I run about 30-50 miles per week and am always looking for an affordable training shoe. These definitely meet the affordable criterion and perform reasonably well, especially for a shoe at this price point. The toe box is a little wider than I like but the heel cup is very good and secure. One of the best at preventing heel sliding that I have felt in some time. The thick Nike Lunar cushion gives the shoe a bit of a floaty feel but the plush ride makes for comfortable long runs. The material is very breathable and my feet stay very cool. The outsole is a black hard rubber material that is very grippy. If the tread were a little more aggressive, I would even consider these shoes for trail running. Medium flexibility in the sole due to the "dual" part of the dual fusion. Due to the Lunar cushion, the shoes are very light; almost as light as a racing shoe. From a style standpoint they are middle of the pack. Like all of the Nike Lunar shoes, these can look a little bit like a moon boot from certain angles. Since the majority of Nike's running shoes utilize the Lunar material now, you won't stand out from the crowd, but I notice it when I look at the shoes.
