The shaft circumference on these boots were designed to fit a wide shaft. I am not a wide shaft. I am not certain if the size 6.5 boots that I ordered were inadvertently sent to me with a wide shaft not a regular shaft. I had to return them to a Manhattan store. They are a great price and if you are a fan of Etienne Aigner then it's a bargain! My best advice is to contact the customer service # (listed under contact us) and speak to an agent so they can advise you on the shaft width for this item. Thanks!"
