I bought these for use as a pair of slippers to pull on when I get up in the middle of the night. Most slippers anywhere this price range come apart in no time and also have that annoying vertical seam that rubs the back of your heel raw. No such problem with these shoes. These sneakers pull on easily, but the elastic gores keep then on your feet. They are skate shoes, so expect them to be snug-fitting (but not uncomfortably tight) with socks on, or order them half a size large if you want them slightly looser. I'll never buy so-called "slippers" again; these now are my toe-stub footwear for stumbling around the house in the middle of the night.
