After being fit by a sports shoes specialist, he recommended that I always wear Asics shoes for my 3 miles/day of walking. I paid a premium for my first pair through him, but am able to find them at a better price through Famous Footwear. These are more of a cross-trainer type and I actually feel they have more support. I don't run and predominantly walk on concrete with some off road walking and these seem to have more support. I love the bright colors and have received many compliments on the look!

I bought these shoes knowing they were a trail shoe but also seeing many reviews mentioning they were great on pavement. They fit very well and were constructed well and appealing to the eye. However, on my first street run, I was highly disappointed. I found there to be very little shock absorbency and lack of support. I don't usually do any trail running so I couldn't tell you if that would have been different. They did have a very aggressive sole. I will always stay true to asics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carlos06 I haven't put on a pair of tennis shoes in a long time that as soon as I put them on I loved them. These are great shoes.
