d asked: Can the lining of this shoe be removed? Can the shoe be immersed in water? I have Crocs and I wash them after wearing them.

Samar: "The insole can be removed, but there is also a shock absorbing core. I'm not sure if it should be immersed. I would just use a disinfecting wipe on the outside."
Christa: "Hi dd, yes the lining can be removed. There is a secondary "filler" in the center that cannot be removed and it is made of foam. The material of the remaining part of the shoe is a hard plastic/vinyl type of material that could be leaned with disinfectant. One of the major things I like about this shoe though is that they have a lot more arch support and padding than Crocs. Hope this helps!"
