Great US Made Shoe
So glad Famous Footwear has US made shoes to choose from. I've been wearing New Balance shoes for years, and finally decided to pay a little more for these US made shoes. They're worth the extra money to keep my fellow American's in jobs. The fit is true and are very comfortable.

The most confortable sneakers...
These sneakers are great..great quality and so comfortable. I went to Disney for the weekend and my feet never hurt and felt like I was walking on a cloud. The other best thing: Made in the good ol USA!!!

Please don't change a thing!
I've been wearing the 99x series for at least ten years. The extra narrow (AA) fits me perfectly with a sports insole, and it's pretty rare to find a pair of sneakers that even come in narrow, let alone extra narrow. (I'm actually somewhere between an A and a B, so they might be a little wider than advertised, but that's all to the good for my taste.).
They hold up well: I can put 500 miles on them (outdoors, on concrete, through the streets of San Francisco) with few visible signs of wear. In fact, here's what I do: I buy a new pair for jogging every 500 miles (5 months) or so. The old pair gets repurposed into walking shoes for weekends and work around the house. After another six months, the original pair is generally still not visibly worn, so I tend to donate them.
They are a little heavy compared to other running shoes, but it's never really bothered me.
