Beautiful Shoe, comfortable fit
Like many, I probably have different sizes in shoes due to the differences in styling and manufacturer. It's tough to guess what is correct without trying on shoes but I'm glad to say I guessed correctly as to the fit of these shoes. Without being as gaudy as patent leather, these shoes have a shine to them that would work well with a lot of different looks. I would be concerned wearing these in a "club" setting as they will likely get stepped on or scuffed but they look like they might hold up better than some shoes that look more 'flexible' and less shiny.
The fit was great, I still have a little space in the toe but the width is comfortable. I have yet to really break them in because I did just order them but I would feel comfortable recommending these. I had bought some Eastlands (which are probably generally pretty good) but somehow they creased in the middle (I kept them in the plastic, which I think was a mistake) to the point where I would feel awkward wearing them. The way this shoe is made, however, points to that being less of a likelihood because of the way the seam comes to near the toe and reinforces the sole to upper adhesion.
