- Thomas: "No they are not. They appear to be sewn in. However, they are very cushioned and comfortable."

- Cindy: "Yes they are but not sure why you'd want to remove them--the show is extremely comfortable even when walking a lot. Wore them almost exclusively when on vacation walking through shops and amusement parks in Myrtle Beach with no problems."
