Deborah asked: is this big enough for my son size 5.5 kids/grade school?

    • Rina: "Hi Deborah I bought these sneakers for my son who is 9 years old who wears size 1. I bought them too when he was 8 years old and his shoe size was 13 then. Both times, they were great on him and he did not have any complaints with them. He is very picky about shoes being comfortable. If famous footwear runs this style in size 5.5 I would then highly recommended to you and maybe it would be a good idea to buy them half a size big as kids have a thicker sports socks to wear. Size 6 instead of size 5.5. I bought for my son the size 1.5 for this same reason and he told me that they were just right so maybe size 2 was going to be better if I want them to last a little longer for him. It also helps when you read the reviews as they have other inputs in terms of how narrow the shoe is or how stiff the material is, etc. My son's feet are narrow as he is a petite boy so he does not have any problems with this type of sneaker. I hope this help to answer your question."
