nice alternative My son wanted Chuck Taylor high-tops, but sometimes has a hard time getting used to the tightness around the ankles. This was a nice alternative to the ultra high-top and the regular rise canvas shoe. It is also versatile with the black canvas, but a little more interesting with its red striping. May 21, 2013

Classic Chucks with a Slip-On Twist I really love these Chuck Taylor's. The padded area around the top of the shoe is very comfortable with the slip-on style. They really feel like a tied laced up shoe. As always with All Stars, they are very flexible on the soles, so if you're looking for support they are a bad choice. As far as fashion, nothing says 'chillin' like a Chuck Taylor sneaker. I bought 2 more pair in different color schemes (see my other product recommendations). May 18, 2013
