Rated 5 out of 5 by LouisS I have wore NB shoes for many years. This is the first time I have ordered the 856. I stand on my feet most of the day and the shoe provides me excellent support. The sole is firmer than my previous shoes but my body (or foot) adjusted within a day or 2. I highly recommend these shoes. They are great.

Good support. Ive been buying this brand for years. Nothin like made in the USA.

This shoe is firmer than the previous models I have worn from New Balance. It is a well made shoe with a supple leather upper, but the sole is stiff for a causal shoe. However, once I got used to it, I am enjoying the support and comfort.
