Comfortable, well made and affordable
I've worked in the service industry for more than 10 years and I've almost always needed slip-resistant shoes that were comfortable and could survive the rigors of the job. For most of that decade I simply ordered Shoes for Crews brand since they have partnered with most of the companies I've worked for but those shoes leave much to be desired for long term comfort and durability.
Thus far the Skechers Magma-Soother have made for an excellent replacement and are much more comfortable with the included insoles. The shoes feel better made and haven't scuffed like many of the SFC shoes I've tried.
The shoes don't have quite the slip resistance of SFC brand but have thus far been good enough to prevent slips. They perform well on wet surfaces, dry surfaces, wood, pavement, etc. Icy surfaces however leave something to be desired. I can stroll through a walk-in freezer without a problem in SFC shoes but I must be much more careful in the Skechers shoes. Again, these shoes aren't bad. Just not quite as good.
If I could change one thing concerning the appearance I would probably make the shoes have a shinier appearance.
Also, try not to let these shoes get wet, and be sure to dry them if they do. One of my shoes has developed about a dozen small cracks along the side. I'll probably buy a replacement pair within a month or so.

Very comfortable
The shoes are just as described. They have a Gel insert which make them very comfortable while standing and walking.
I do alot of walking on concrete and my feet and back feel fine at the end of the day.
