Can you build a Famous Footwear store in my neighborhood?

How do I open my own Famous Footwear store?
Unfortunately, Famous Footwear does not franchise any of its stores.
How can I find out what the store hours are for the Famous Footwear nearest me?
Simply call 1-800-40FAMOUS - You will be automatically connected to the store nearest you.
When I try to enroll my REWARDS account online, I get an error message of "name doesn’t match number." Why?
We may need to add to or correct the information currently on record in your REWARDS account. Once we have updated your information, you will be able to enroll online. Please contact the REWARDS Center at 1-800-401-8888.
Can I purchase gift cards online?
Yes you can. Visit our gift card shop to purchase one. All Famous Footwear Gift Cards, whether purchased online or in-store are good at any Famous Footwear location and at Famous Footwear.com. You can also check the balance of your Famous Footwear Gift Card by visiting our online Balance Check area. (Please Note: You cannot use Merchandise Credit Cards on Famous.com to pay for your purchase. Please visit one of our stores to use these cards.)

What is REWARDS?
REWARDS is Famous Footwear’s free loyalty program for people who love shoes! Membership is available to all customers age 16 and up.
What is included in REWARDS membership?
As a member you will earn 1 point for every dollar you spend in our stores and online (Gold members earn 1.5 points per dollar). Points will add up quickly and you will receive a REWARDS certificate every time you earn 100 points. As a member you will have a personal online account and you will receive members-only discounts, bonus point opportunities, advance notice of sales and invitations to special events at our stores. You also have the option to receive weekly emails and to receive your certificates by email. You will even receive a coupon just for joining!

Do I need a membership card?
Every member is issued a membership card when they join, but you don't have to carry it around with you. Just ask a store associate to look up your information at the cash register – they can either find you by phone number or by last name and zip code. If you’ve lost your card, please call REWARDS Customer Service at 1-800-401-8888 to request a new card.
How much does a REWARDS membership cost?

How do I cancel my membership?
You can call REWARDS Customer Service at 1-800-401-8888. We're sorry to see you go! We would love to receive your feedback on the program.
How do I earn points?
REWARDS members earn 1 point for every dollar spent in our stores and online. Gold members receive 1.5 points per dollar. See your current balance. We also have a number of bonus point opportunities available (see below).
How can I earn bonus points?
There are a number of ways to earn extra “bonus” points, which will be added to the points you earn from purchases:
- Receive 50 bonus points if you give us your email address when you join REWARDS (either online or in a store).
- Receive 25 bonus points if you choose to receive your certificates by email.
- Earn 100 bonus points for every purchase of $100 or more.
- Reach Gold member status (spend $200 annually) and receive 100 bonus points.
- We also offer additional bonus point opportunities throughout the year that we will inform you of at the time the offer is in place.
How can I be sure I'm getting points for my purchases?
Make sure that all of your purchases are credited to your account:
- Identify yourself as a REWARDS member each time you shop by giving the cashier your membership card or asking them to look up your account.
- Enter your member number when you purchase online. (If you joined the program in a store, you must first register your REWARDS account online. Click here to do so now.)
- If you forgot to give your membership information at the time of purchase, you can add the purchase to your account and have the points credited to you. You will need your receipt or packing slip to do so.
If you made the purchase in-store, please wait at least 1 business day. If it’s an online purchase, please wait until you have received your purchase (as information from the packing slip is required).
I am having trouble adding a past purchase to my account. What do I do?
- First, make sure that your REWARDS account is registered online.
- Next, make sure that it has been less than 60 days since the purchase date. If it has been more than 60 days, you will need to call REWARDS Customer Service at 1-800-401-8888.
- Finally, be sure that you are entering all of the necessary information from your purchase. You will need the transaction date, store number, register number and transaction number. All of this information can be found on your receipt (for store purchases) or packing slip (for online purchases).
- If you receive an error message, please call REWARDS Customer Service at 1-800-401-8888.
How soon after a purchase are points added to my balance?
Points are credited immediately, but you may not see them in your online points balance until 24-48 hours after purchase. Extra points, such as double-points, sometime take longer (may take up to 10 business days).
What if I think there's been a mistake with my points balance?
It can take up to 3 business days for points to show up in your balance. Bonus points may take up to 10 days to appear in your account.

What happens to my points if I return merchandise?
The point value of your return is deducted from your balance.
Do points ever expire?
Yes. If you have not made a purchase in 24 months, your points are deducted from your balance.
Do I earn points when I redeem REWARDS certificates?
You'll earn points on every dollar you spend that exceeds the certificate value (not including tax). Your certificate savings do not earn points.
Do I earn points on tax or shipping?
Do I earn points for the purchase of gift cards?
Yes. You will earn points when you purchase a gift card. However, points will not be rewarded on purchases made with a gift card.
How do I earn REWARDS certificates?
All points, through purchases and bonus points, are counted toward REWARDS certificates. See my Points Balance. Certificates are sent out four times per year. The amount of the certificate you receive is based on the points you have at the time we issue certificates.
What happens to any points left over after a REWARDS certificate has been earned?
These points stay in your account and will go toward your next REWARDS certificate. Points may expire if you have not made a purchase in 24 months.
When will I receive a REWARDS certificate?
Certificates are sent out four times per year. The amount of the certificate you receive is based on the points you have at the time we issue certificates.
Is a minimum purchase required with a REWARDS certificate?
No. Your certificate is treated just like cash because you earned it! However you will not receive change or cash back for a partially redeemed REWARDS certificate.
Do REWARDS certificates expire?
Yes. Your REWARDS certificate will have an expiration date printed on it. After that date, they are no longer valid and the cashier cannot accept them. If you sign up to receive emails from us, we will email you a reminder when your certificate is about to expire.
Can I use more than one REWARDS certificate at a time?
No. Only one REWARDS certificate may be used per transaction.
Can I use a coupon and my REWARDS certificate at the same time?
Yes. You may combine one certificate and one coupon in a transaction.
Can I give my certificate to a friend to use?
No. Certificates must be used by the REWARDS member that they are issued to.
Are there restrictions on what I can use my REWARDS certificate to purchase?
Yes. Certificates cannot be used to purchase a gift card and cannot be applied to previous purchases.
My reward certificate has been lost or stolen. Can you replace it?
Rewards certificates will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
I can't find my member number or my membership card. How do I make sure I'm enrolled?
The best place to start is to look up your account here. You can also ask a store associate to look up your member number in the cash register.
Will my membership ever expire?
After three years with no activity, we assume that you are no longer interested in being a REWARDS member. Your membership is then cancelled. After it is cancelled, you will have to rejoin if you would like to be a member again.
My membership was cancelled, so I need to start over. Can you restore my points?
No, points cannot be restored after a membership is cancelled.
How old do I have to be to be a member?
Can I give my points to another person?
No, your points may not be shared or given to another individual.
I have more than one membership. Can I combine them?
Yes! Please call REWARDS Customer Service at 1-800-401-8888.
What do I need in order to login to my personal account webpage?
You will need your email address and password.
Do I have to login?
If you want to access your membership information, you must login.
What if I signed up for REWARDS in a store and have never accessed my account online?
You will need to register your REWARDS account online with Famous Footwear to access your membership information.
What will I find on my personal account webpage?
There are many things available on the website, like the opportunity to manage your preferences. You can register to receive emails and certificates via email, check your point balance, add a purchase,
save information for express checkout and check the status of famous.com purchases. To login to your account and set these preferences, click here.
How do I change the name/address information on my REWARDS account?
Your account must be registered online in order to update this information. You can change the name and address on your account in the Personal Information section. Your address can be changed in the Billing and Shipping area.
Why should I give you my email address?
There are many benefits of giving us your email address. You can choose to receive regular emails from us which will include special offers, reminders when your certificate is about to expire and trend information. You can also choose to receive your certificates by email, which you can then use online or print to use in store. Plus, if you give us your email when you sign up you will receive 50 bonus points! You can view or update your email in your profile by logging in.
How do I become a Gold member?
Your account will automatically be upgraded to Gold member status when you spend $200 or more in a year. You must then spend at least $200 every 12 months to maintain your Gold membership level.
How long will my Gold membership last?
Once you become a Gold member, you will maintain that status for 12 months. You must spend at least $200 within that 12 months for your Gold membership to be renewed.
What are the benefits of becoming a Gold member?
When you become a Gold member, we will credit your account with 100 bonus points! You will then earn 1.5 points for every dollar you spend in our stores and online, so you can earn REWARDS certificates much faster than with regular membership!

Will I receive a new membership card?
No. Your member number has not changed, so you don't need a new card. You can continue to use your current card and you can still have the store associate look up your member number at the cash register if you don’t have your card with you.

What do you use my information for?
Your personal information is only used to provide you with REWARDS benefits, such as REWARDS certificates that you earn and extra members-only discounts throughout the year.
