"I work at a bank and am on my feet for a good 8 hours on average. They are a great looking shoe and when first purchased, held to my feet fine. I have found, after using these for about a year now, the elastic bands, by the tongue, have stretched out and will not keep the shoes tight on my feet. Also, the 2 pieces of decorative thread have loosened up and have had to be removed. They were not ripped or tugged on...they simply stretched along with normal wear and could not re-thread them back into the holes. It's just time to put them to rest."

"In the hard cracked up streets of the Lower East Side of Manhattan, there is nothing more comfortable, yet fashionably with, then these Maddens. They are great with any style from formal to casual. I would never get compliments on shoes that I would wear, till now."
